Osaka becomes youngest investor for LA's Sweetgreen

It seems as if every day Naomi Osaka is doing something big. Whether it's winning major titles on the court or picking up major deals off the court, she's not wasting a single moment. On Thursday, she became a partner of her very first food establishment.

She joined forces with Los Angeles restaurant Sweetgreen, adding to her growing investment portfolio that includes includes performance recovery brand Hyperice—the Los Angeles Lakers official recovery sponsor—BodyArmor and Muzik.

"Anyone that knows me knows I’ve been into sweetgreen or a while (I eat it minimum three times a week when I’m training/at shoots), which is why I’m excited to share that I’m their newest partner and youngest investor," Osaka wrote on Instagram.

The mission-driven restaurant that serves health-conscious food is excited to re-define what the future looks like for on-the-go healthy eating. With many Americans shifting their diets and implementing healthier options into their every day lives, Sweetgreen is a major player in the industry.

“I’m proud to join forces with sweetgreen to change the way the world thinks of traditional fast-food sponsorships," Osaka said. "As an athlete, what I put into my body directly correlates to how I perform and eating delicious, healthy foods fuels my daily routine."
